October 3, 2021 - More than ten years since my last TN on this number and I still have two bottles in the "cellar." Somewhat skeptical about the longevity of the 2008 vintage at this point, but this offering is still showing pretty well: plenty of spicy tart cherry fruit evident, a good color with a hint of brick around the rim; it did fade somewhat after a few hours. Should not keep the second one for much longer.

February 3, 2015 - Tasty juice, but I don't really get much depth on this.

August 8, 2012 - Developing nicely but will improve with more time in the cellar. Made from young vines it has limits as to how far it will soften. Fruity & berry flavors but can be tart on opening

July 29, 2011 - A day in the valley (Dundee Hills, OR): nose: very tightly wound but showing excellent layering already with very good depth and melded tones of red fruits, berries, floral tones, and bits of red cherries
taste: gorgeous medium body with medium+ acidity with some plump tannins. Polished, and though not fully showing, tones of red fruits, floral tones, and red cherries
overall: this was wound really tight. Shows a lot of promise and can improve a lot once it starts to fully open up -

May 26, 2011 - Great opportunity to try this one for it seems it isn't in our portfolio: clear garnet color; perhaps it is merely suggestion, but I detected a trace of a trace of volcanic mineral on the nose; whatever the truth of that, the fruit is concentrated, tart red cherries (good acidity here), minerality and structure.
