  October 24, 2020 - Opened and left to breathe.
  Scented with notes of cassis, slightly dried cherry and touches of plum, with notes of spice, cocoa, vanilla, cigar box, herbs, pencil shavings, new leather, espresso and hints of eucalyptus.
  The wine enters the palate with smooth textures and well built structure. Above moderate acidity, tannins and abv. Flavors reveal, cherry, cassis, spice, herbs, leather, vanilla, no. 2 pencil and hints of espresso, cocoa and eucalyptus. The finish hangs in with the tannins gaining in intensity.
  In a good spot, but still needs air time.

  August 2, 2018 - Matured nicely. Fruit has mellowed and lighter bodied than I remember but classy overall. Red fruited and seamlessly smooth. Finish a little clipped. Not overly complex but balanced. Won't improve. Drink up.

  April 5, 2018 - Very nice wine in a good drinking window. Based on this bottle don’t exercise expect much improvement over tune. Think that drink in the next 2-4 years makes a lot of sense
