October 15, 2021 - Excellent at 11 years old. Fruit-laden, blueberry as previous reviewer notes. Soft leather, some stone. Great merlot nose, palate full yet smooth, soft tannins - fully integrated now.

August 17, 2020 - I was quite worried by the last two comments, so I am very pleased to say that this is a) delicious and b) showing no sign of decline. This is particularly so since I bought it after tasting it at the Chateau in 2012. This is a really good example of a top notch Blaye (of which there are few). Lovely, soft but well balanced Merlot (predominantly). Very moreish.
