April 23, 2019 - solid and seductive blend of CabSauv, Sangiovese and Merlot which neves falls short. This 2004 is at the end of its best drinking window but still deivers wonderful and complex notes of dark chocolate, graphite, licorice and leather. Fruit faded away. Rapidly oxidizing. Drink up. November 17, 2018 - great stuff in its best drinking window. Smoke and ripe red fruit at the nose, consistent palate with underbrush, leather and roasted coffee melt with ripe plums and blackberries. Powerful and full-bodied, classy and elegant, thick and seductive.
