June 7, 2020 - Still strong. Easy drinking. No need for decanting. Well integrated tannins. Fruit very there.

January 28, 2017 - A little faded although still black and red fruit evident, just not as sweet or rich as hoped for. Tannins fully resolved and medium bodied, medium finish, if anything a slight acidity. Hints of menthol, and a subtle bit of herb.

November 17, 2014 - WSET Level 3 Session 4-6; 11/17/2014-11/21/2014 (London, UK): Clear medium garnet with distinct legs and sediment in the glass.
The nose is clean medium intense and with aroma characteristics of black berries, prunes, plums, vanilla, sandal wood, leather, and used tea bags.
    The nose is fully developed.
The wine is dry with medium plus acidity and with soft velvety medium tannins. The alcohol is medium and it is full bodied with medium plus flavour intensity. Key characteristics are black berries and black currant. There is smoked meat and clear forrest floor.
It is quite complex and well balanced with a medium plus finish.
The quality level is outstanding and it should be drunk now. It is not suitable for ageing or further ageing. I think it will keep well for a couple of years, but I do not see it getting any better.

August 16, 2014 - I really liked this wine. It is a dark black violet in color, and the tannins and primary fruit flavors were integrated from the beginning. In addition to currant and leather flavors, there was an herbal, eucalyptus note on the finish. I really enjoy that quality in a Bordeaux. I don't see much point to holding this any longer, so drink up.

October 17, 2013 - The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Raisin, and Cranberry. It tastes like Gooseberry, and Red Currant. The body is Full. The wine has Leathery texture. The wine finishes Medium.
