March 18, 2024 - Petrol on the nose (I'm very sensitive on petrol and smell it on a fair few German Rieslings). Fuller bodied than most, good acidity. Citrus and honeycomb. This will go for several more years, interesting to see how it improves. Not particularly complex at present.

December 26, 2022 - My previous note still sums this up. The nose and palate show pears, pineapple, mango and lemon, a bit from each fruit spectrum and some slate. There is a blast of sweet fruit at the onset, but then the 2010 acidity - now more integrated and harmonious - kicks in and it ends up ending just barely off dry on the finish. Still not quite fully integrated though (A-).

May 13, 2021 - Very good example of Riesling Spätlese. This is developing well and is having a good balance and complexity. Long finish. A very good value for money semi-sweet riesling. Can be drunk now, or cellared for another 7-8 years.

March 28, 2021 - I haven't opened many 2010s since release. This seems to be aging well. Tasty, and should last quite a while (A-).

December 14, 2019 - Pretty nose of orchard fruit with a touch of motor oil. The palate feels fully mature as this is quite open and fleshy. Delicious ripe fruits of dragonfruit, kiwi, lime and marmalade come through on the palate. The finish is relatively short and rounded. This is delicious today but is aging quicker than I expected so I would drink it soon.
