March 1, 2013 - A near identical assessment to the April 2012 tasting. Tartness might have even ramped up a notch, a shame as there's a decent layer of herbal fruits underneath but's it hard to see (or taste). Some bitterness to finish.

April 2, 2012 - Lively structure, as per the 2011 tasting, but somewhat unfriendly with a tartness that prevents much fruit purity coming through (if indeed it even exists?). Some green leaf points to the cabernet component but the shiraz is hard to see. No really going anywhere but won't slip in the short term given the tightness.

July 16, 2011 - Seems fresh, at least early on, but upon further review this wine shows some hints of middle age. Fruit is light but tart with some raspberry character. Almost gueze-like with its tight pong and acidity but there's some shiraz fruit heaviness under all of this structure that shows a bit of the aged berry character. Can't really work this out but won't hurt to leave a little while.
