September 18, 2020 - For those of you still holding onto this one, drink up, it’s in a nice spot right now. Little to no tannins, bright fruit, dried strawberries and cherries. Medium finish and body, nice acidity for food. Deep garnet color with almost no sediment. Did not require decanting or time to open up, and it is falling off day two, so probably reaching the end of its window.

January 30, 2017 - I think this wine is just ok. Doesn't hold up over time.

    May 23, 2013 - A beautiful well-balanced red with bright wonderful fruit.

September 9, 2012 - This wine was a blend of all 6 Bordeaux varietals - 37% cabernet sauvignon, 17% merlot, 17% cabernet franc, 17% malbec, 6% petite verdot and 6% carmenere. On first pour, the wine was showing a bit too much oak; recorked and held overnight. The nose and palate were then fairly in sync with black cherry, blueberry, tobacco, cocoa, cedar and spice all folded together with balance, subtlety and elegance. The mouthfeel was silky smooth with the tannins already well integrated. Overall, a knockout debut from this house’s Margaret’s Vineyard.

(JM Cellars Margaret's Vineyard Estate Red Wine Walla Walla Valley) A perfumed wine with abundant peppery spice, herbal notes, and light milk chocolate. The palate is soft and textured with concentrated fruit flavors and a tart finish. A very impressive first release from this vineyard. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Carmenère. Aged 21 months in French oak (75% new). 14.3% alcohol. 750 cases produced.
