January 21, 2023 - With NY Strip…..
Cork soaked almost all the way through
Some wet leaves, forest floor and graphite/flint upon open.
Black Raspberry, dark chocolate and tobacco.
Slight dusty tannins and great depth.very slight bitter/iodine note.
Wow! Just lovely. -

September 8, 2020 - Still showing a youthful and vibrant color. Spiced, cinnamon, and red fruit aromas; medium body with good acidity, dark cherry fruit, mint/herbal flavors. Oak is nowhere to be seen or tasted. Thanks to Mrs. SD-Wineaux.

August 9, 2019 - Opened this bottle a few weeks ago; sat in the fridge looking lonely. Finally warmed it up a bit and reveled in The Moment....STUNNING!! Perfect floral, juicy ruby red aged to perfection. You just can’t compare it to anything else! It’s like Ole Joe Heitz created something to be treasured for infinity. YEP it’s that perfect.
