December 26, 2013 - Very well balanced. Lots of dark berries and dark chocolate - less coconut and sandalwood (both are faint, at this point). Fruit is so rich and pure right now, the wine is in the spot that I like it. Won't fall off a cliff any time soon, either (5+ yrs).

April 5, 2012 - Dark fruit, nice balance. Cherries and spice show up on the pallette. Tannins and acid are still in a nice strong balance and the wine opens up nicely with a couple of hours of decanting. The color is still dark with no real signs of aging. This wine could still go for a number of years before it peaks.
