May 8, 2023 - Curious to see how Malbec aged. Deep colour. Initially smooth and refined but there seemed no added complexity or development with age. Then developed a slightly bitter aftertaste which although full of flavour was not that attractive. The vintage seems to have less power and depth than others which will influence the drinking window. There seems reasons to believe that the Malbec grape does not age that well. Drink now.

July 14, 2021 - Black fruit, blackberry, chocolate, leather, licorice, and blueberry.

September 4, 2020 - Popped post Coravin after an extended period. Has held up fine but I just don’t think Malbec ages at all. Loses all its interesting fruit notes.

    Bad? No. Enjoyable? Sort of.
Would sell all of it I had in my cellar

January 20, 2020 - Gorgeous and seductive Malbec at a great age. Ripe off the vine luscious plump blackberries, silky mouth coating milk chocolate, and an alluring scent of smoky sweet spices. This is what Malbec should taste like. Paired this with med rare thick ribeyes off the grill.
