Community Tasting Notes 1

November 6, 2009 - From magnum. Decanted briefly for sediment and poured back into the bottle to take to the tasting. The first glasses gave up nothing on the nose or palate, so this went right back into a decanter. Opened nicely after a couple of hours in the decanter. Notes of cherries, sage and baking spices. Nice acidity and balance, with subtle red fruit and spice flavors. Elegant, and quite nice. 89-90 pts.
