September 22, 2015 - This wine shows why I'm fond of this producer's wines. They do Syrah really well. Deep, brooding, earthy nose with black fruit, spice, white pepper, and very dark chocolate. Palate is bright with chewy, rustic tannins and a long, spicy finish. There is still sweet fruit to balance against all that earthiness and depth. This wine still has a good five years of development in it.

March 28, 2012 - I reall love this wine!. Dark and rich and chewy with lots of fruit and earthiness and just the right acidic backbone underneath to keep it fresh. Cherry fruit and cigar box on the palate. Very long finish on this beautiful wine. Also, this wine has a beautiful black licorice and garrigue on the palate. This is a really fantastic syrah. An outstanding wine.

Very long finish on this beautiful wine.There is a wonderful aromatic side that comes out on the nose, and a beautiful garrigue and licorice flavor on the palate. Really fantastic. An outstanding wine.
