June 27, 2023 - Last bottle, this one kept in less than ideal conditions in a deposito in the Marche for the last 5 years - slightly dried fruit nose with woody overtones, hints of cinnamon, then a cherry / blueberry fruit on the palate, tannins soft but a touch austere, medium length but pleasant right bank Bordeaux. Better value available now at this price. Silly heavy bottle.

January 13, 2019 - Wine was already over the peak though not dead. But still I doubt that this was ever a winner. Nose comes with some herbal and dusty notes (quite one-dimensional). Palate better but quite rough. The potential of this lovely region was not exhausted.

April 3, 2015 - First bottle from this vintage of a reliable Bordeaux, drunk with the last of the 06 vintage. Markedly different to 06, being rich, almost jammy fruit with good length and balance. Easy to drink now but might benefit from further keeping. WoFW 12/20
