February 18, 2014 - Deep, brooding aromas and flavors. Very "place-specific" -- felt as though I was in the Sta Rita Hills walking among the vines. Not in the cool mist of the morning or the serenity of twilight -- this one is wide awake as the noon sun after the fog has burned off. Ripe, elegant, lively, ready to deliver. This wine is drinking REALLY well right now!
