July 14, 2014 - Complex and full, with waxy aromas approaching an almost petrol like essence. Good lift and round body without having any sweetness at all. Lovely and worth the $$.

Beautiful nose. A fresh and full-bodied palate with notes of oyster shell framing the flavors nicely. Tastes like really expensive Chablis for a lot less money.

2011 Austrian Catalog, 5/1/2011 (link)(Heidi Schröck Weissburgunder) ($24.00) Was there ever a vintage that gave such aromatic Pinot Blancs? This one’s exceptionally bright and briny with notes of sweet corn; the palate is firm-boned, sweet-fruited and oyster-shelly; not as leesy as Prieler’s, and seeming drier, but more pointed and brassy.
