Community Tasting Notes 12

February 5, 2016 - Very pleasant surprise as this was so refined and elegant with beautiful light red fruit in a cool style which is so unusual for Chateauneuf du Pape this days. The fruit is still fresh and by no means fading. Great marks from the soil as well.

March 9, 2014 - Still holding well. Nice silky texture, everything integrated - not outstanding, but solid.

May 11, 2013 - Mature, still very good, but not getting better. Should probably drink my last 2 in the coming year or so.

May 9, 2013 - Decanted for one hour. On the nose vibrant ripe, mellow, slightly confected dark fruit. Light bodied palate, smooth, delivering a bit unfocused dark fruit with a tiny confected/mellowed aspect. Very smooth tannins and gentle acidity. Overall, still quite drinkable and decent for a 14 years old wine, but won´t get any better. Wasn´t quite what I expected from an aged CdP.

December 11, 2012 - A bit disappointing - very average CDP - medium bodied with some tartness on the pallet
