February 20, 2013 - It was much smoother and vibrant than the last time that I drank this vintage. I had it along side an Amarone. It was similar but not as complex. The 2006 Amarone was definitely better but not worth 2X in price as compared to the Villabella Ripasso.

October 1, 2012 - Nose of red raspberry and sour cherry. Medium minus extraction, hints of green herbal acidity, lots of berry fruit, integrated tannins. Good.

May 27, 2012 - Dark red with a purple center. It had aromas of plums, black cherries and hints of raisins. It was very smooth, balanced, easy drinking with a medium aftertaste and dryness.
