October 21, 2022 - This my last bottle continues to have the richness and texture and character but has lost something. The bitterness at the end, mouth-watering in small amounts, is a little too prominent.

February 1, 2021 - As always, a unique and satisfying wine.
"A field blend made of Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Ribolla gialla, Malvasia and little percentage of a sweet local grape variety." Medium gold. Nose floral, ripe yellow/tropical fruit and a touch of honey. Texturally like a fine aged Semillon. Good acidity, from the SB, but without any vegetal character. Richness more than sweetness, although I think some RS. Deep fruit and some honey on the palate.
I guess the closest comparator would be a dry cuvees from fine Sauternes producers, like "Y."
Chosen to match with a white bean/butternut squash/carrot.prosciutto stew and it did admirably.

August 18, 2019 - This wine continues to amaze me. Still drinking very fresh, yet a couple more years of rest brought on some additional complexity. Fairly expressive nose and a full, round palette. Powerful and lengthy finish. Vanilla, candied orange peel, and marzipan nicely balanced with granite and straw. Just a hint more acidity would have taken this from outstanding to exceptional.

Edit: I spoke too soon. After a little more air time, everything evolved. The acidity increased along with the minerality. A pleasant element of funk also arrived on the scene. This is something far superior to its younger self.

July 29, 2019 - Peach Farm w Nesli, XL et al. I thought this bottle was more advanced. Still rich (though dry) and interesting. A good bet w Peach Fram seafood.

March 2, 2019 - Full evolved and mature and rather beautiful for it. Exotic and thick but not over the hill. Drink now.
