November 7, 2009 - Red center. Sweet blackberry/raspberry nose. Subtle but very pleasant. Taste very similar, restrained but complex. A very classy zinfandel. The alcohol isn't too high for this vintage (14%) which makes for a better wine. Drinking very well now.

October 5, 2009 - Zin Purge and a Couple Random Whites: Brambles, menthol and minerality on the nose. Medium bodied on the palate with some acidity. Finish is medium length, with some tannins that are slightly astringent. Definitely refined in style. Poor, no....VERY poor QPR.

February 11, 2009 - Plum, cherry and strawberry jam shine in this ripe, yet more refined style of zinfandel. Nice balance and good depth with lilac, pepper and dirt emerging on the finish. Probably at it's peak now. Drink now-2011. 88 pts.

April 1, 2007 - Unfortunately had this next to a 2001 Turley Pesenti which completely overshadowed this one. Thin sour nose with little fruit. Still had a bunch of tannins so perhaps more time will help this one
