  April 5, 2015 - Dark ruby red; cedar and some tart berry on the nose, great mouth feel with medium to long finish. Nice balance between tannins and acidity.

  March 14, 2014 - Paired this with a roasted mushroom pesto pasta dish at a dinner with friends. It got a consensus rating of 89 with comments ranging from "light" to "rich." It was overpowered by a line up of brunellos that followed, but still got good marks overall....raspberry and strawberry on the nose. Good balance with medium finish

  April 20, 2013 - A nice surprise. Fruit forward and able to hold its own with a strong and piquant sauce and it got better over the evening so I'd recommend breathing time or decanting. Not complex but clean nose with cherry and pomegranate and lasting palate.

  March 19, 2013 - Very nice wine with a slight cherry taste. It has a bright violet color and finishes very well. If you are a Sangiovese fan, I think you will like this one.
