Community Tasting Notes 8

    November 9, 2015 - As part of a 2009 Stoller vineyard horizontal, decidedly lighter in body than others, more berry fruit and tarter flavors, and a wonderful sawdusty nose that lingers in the glass and keeps you coming back to nose it.

    August 22, 2015 - wine wonderful with Joel & Kathy Gray at the Source restaurant in Granite Bay. wine beautiful;

    April 8, 2015 - Delicious. Definitely better after 3 years of cellaring. Too bad it's our last bottle.

    February 9, 2014 - Medium dense color, purple at the rime has mostly vanished.
    On nose beetroot and acidity at first; as the wine warms up it becomes more complex and enticing.
    On palate the wine is disappointing: it lacks breadth and dimension, is hollow on the middle palate and finishes with noticeable bitterness.
    My wife thinks it needs more time. Giving her judgement the benefit of doubt, I'll open the next bottle from this producer in 2016.

    August 23, 2013 - this is elegant ... had over two nights and neither night disappointed me ... stoller is a magical vineyard
