October 4, 2022 - Pale garnet with a slight brick hue. Attractive nose of dried red fruits, tomato leaf and dried tobacco leaf; medium-bodied and elegant in texture yet still with some incisive light to midbodied tannins, flavours similar to the nose. Excellent, and will hold or cellar for a while yet.

June 12, 2021 - BBC Long weekend 2021; 6/11/2021-6/13/2021: soft, well balanced, relatively simple style, good flavours, not going anywhere.

December 10, 2017 - 13.5% ABV. Garnet transparent core, ruby rim with a touch of bricking. Lovely nose of violets, prune, red fruit and spices; such silk and elegance on entry, fine chalky tannins and refreshing acidity, sweet ripe plums. Everything is just so balanced right now, oak has melded well, lovely texture.

July 20, 2014 - Quite an elegant brunello. Aromas of sour cherries, violets and blackberries. Medium bodied savoury palate of blackberries, sour cherries and well integrated oak. Smooth, well rounded palate finishing very dry with moderate, chalky tannins. Drinking beautifully now.

June 18, 2014 - Medium red colour. Some florals on the nose. Red cherry, a hint of raspberry, leather, tobacco, earth and spice on the palate. Minerally acid. Just over medium bodied. Just lacks a bit of length. Needs food.
