May 12, 2021 - Great things come to those that wait. Mark's wine are remarkably ageworthy and the 09 Z is no exception. Still vibrant, yet, infectious secondary flavors of smokey peet, spice and earthy roasted mushrooms. IMO at it's best expression right now.

October 30, 2020 - Fairly full bodied for a Pinot Noir, but still lacks the fruit that I want from a Red wine. Not worth the price point in my opinion

December 12, 2016 - In a perfect spot right now.

October 20, 2016 - Really a nice wine right now. Very balanced, plenty of fruit but not at all overpowering; enough acidity to keep everything under control. Wish I had more of this.

November 19, 2015 - I am a long time drinker of St. Innocent pinots, but this was my first bottle of the Zenith. More fulll-bodied, richer and with more fruit than I expected from a St. Innocent. Also does not seem to have as much grip as typical St. Innocents. Layers of ripe, dark-red fruits - mostly raspberry and cherry, along with some spice and earth. Not especially complex, but with plenty of depth and intensity, great balance, a creamy, smooth, almost lush texture, and an enjoyable, fruity finish. Drinking great now.
