May 1, 2023 - Mittleres Bordeauxrot, leicht aufgehellter Rand. Sehr schöne, offene und reife Nase, rote Früchte, reife Feigen, auch mineralische Noten, schöne Komplexität. Am Gaumen sauber und klar im Auftakt, die rote Frucht der Nase wird ergänzt durch dunkle Beeren und würzige Komponenten, der Alkohol ist spürbar, die Gerbstoffe präzis, reif und fein, trotzdem hat der Wein eine gewisse Frische und eine sehr gute Qualität. Macht jetzt schon Spass, kann aber auch noch etwas reifen. Jetzt bis 2025, 18 vvPunkte (90/100) www.vvwine.ch

March 18, 2023 - A tenu tête sans broncher à un Château de Fieuzal 2015 bu côte-à-côte.
Le Fieuzal est presque trois le prix du Montus et celui-ci n'a pourtant vraiment pas à rougir de la comparaison.
Le Montus est bien sûr plus fondu et le bois est moins évident, mais le vin est encore presque noir, sans décoloration visible. A été à son mieux après une heure de carafe. Vraiment excellent à ce stade-ci. Les tannins sont aimables et le fruit est encore bien là. Très belle bouteille!1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 20, 2022 - 80% Tannat. Tobacco juice, lead pencil, loam and black fruit. Smooth with prominent tannins but not aggressive. A big wine but well proportioned. A little sediment thrown. At peak but will last.
