October 20, 2023 - Great purity. Clearly PYCM signature. Quite stunning after 13 years.

October 7, 2022 - Quite golden in colour.
Mature nose of buttery caramel, ripe orchard fruits, suggestion of mint.
The palate is rich and round, medium intensity with a nice citrus lift and the bracing acidity you expect from PY. Finishes fresh and medium-length.
Like a lot of PY’s 10s this is quite evolved but quite delicious and in a great drinking spot right now.

March 4, 2022 - Mainly 02 Red Burgundy (Noizé, London): Off the list at Noizé following a corked mag of the 12. Nicely mineral nose with a layer of richness. Classical on the palate. In a lovely place. ****

February 23, 2022 - A little funk on the nose, seemed slightly acerbic, perhaps a even metallic. After some time it settled and showed seaweed, yellow citrus fruits with some complexity but seemed to be lacking in length and power. Was expecting more and di not find it v compelling.

June 25, 2021 - Charity wine dinner; Rosé, Champagne, old/new Barolo, Sauternes, Port (Samish Hill, Bellingham, WA): Disclosure: this was consumed the night before the others in this tasting story. Its majesty compelled me to include it.
I miss the days this was available at 1/3 of its current price, but admit it is still worth the fare.
Again reduced upon opening, but less so than previous bottles. Most blew off quickly but left an nice subtle matchstick complexity. The aromas, flavors, and textures were so gratifying. Lemon oil, limestone and flowers. I have one more, and it will have to be a special meal to justify opening my last.

(Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly Blanc) Light yellow color; lovely, tart lemon, lemon chiffon nose; creamy textured, tart lemon, mineral, chalk palate; needs 3 years; medium-plus finish (great value)
