February 15, 2020 - Drinking beautifully now, this wine evolved from young and quaffable to mature and contemplative without skipping a beat. Great QPR most every year and perfect for anyone wanting to benefit from short-to-midterm aging of Washington cab.
Last bottle from a case purchase upon release. -

May 29, 2018 - An hour of decanting opened this up really well. From the bottle it was rather thin. Once decanted it drank well with a nice balance of fruit and tannins.

March 28, 2016 - Great QPR here. Simple fruit forward buttery nose. Peppery and rustic with dark fruit, grape popsicle and red pepper flakes with a gritty finish. Not great but good for the $$

March 28, 2016 - Dark clear purple hue. Nose of blackberry, graphite, plum, mint, and vanilla. Medium palate of blackberry, cassis, orange rind, vanilla, and anise. Excellent length. Pleasant acidity. Sweet tannins. Not the best vintage of this wine, but an elegant, food-friendly Washington Cab.
