June 12, 2019 - Lovely wine, masculine, tannic. Cassis and blackberry through the palate. Still has a few years to sing, then will start it's mature years. Wonderful.

March 9, 2018 - 4 years on from the last tasting and this wine has evolved nicely. The chubby velvet baby fat has blown off and the wine is quite masculine. Cassis, blackberry, cedar, this wine is aging nicely. Tannins were drying on open but after an hour decant it is quite approachable. It's not the stunning beaty it once was, but is still wonderful.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis). The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.
