April 3, 2016 - Still very much alive. Plenty of fruit. Sweet with plenty of fruit and wonderful structure. Opened up about two hours before consuming and then drunk over the next several hours.

July 8, 2012 - Black cherry and boysenberry aromas with some dried roses and hints of cocoa. Ripe and powerful fruit on palate, still incredibly fresh. I never would have thought this from 1998 if tasted blind. Finishes with robust structure, then lots of black pepper, licorice complementing the fruit.

November 28, 2009 - Darker fruits, some unusual tropical aromas, and some secondary aromas... Vanilla. Palate has good fruit but is a little thin.
