Community Tasting Notes 1

July 4, 2013 - This is quite delicious and very promising modern Spanish wine, edgy and young. Extracted anise-seed-with-rubber greeting us on the large nose. It enters the mouth just like an Aussie Shiraz, but very soon, the M++ acids come in to play with red fruits. Tannins are M+ and don't walk hand in hand with fruit and acids just yet. The youthfulness accounts for this wine's lack of internal coordination, but also for its current charm.
I think this will reach around 92 in the future, but tonight's showing was only 88 on our scale.

At Milestone Bar in Yoyogiuehara, Tokyo.
