September 30, 2012 - hmmm. this bottle perplexed me. upon opening, there was just nothing going on but high tannins and heat. I decanted for 2 hours and no change, decided to hold off until day two. Same result. Day three however proved to finally open this up with good jammy dark fruits, the tannins mellowed, but the heat remained in the finish. Will let rest a few years before trying another.
