November 10, 2012 - Tasted blind. Giveaway Pinot garnet hue. Fine ripe red fruit, restrained, with some gunsmoke and sois-bois. Classic profile. Silky palate, nice red fruit, balanced. Decent finish. Very classical hence I guessed modest generic Cotes-de-Nuits or Marsannay. Faded quite quickly after two hours so my advice would be to finish the bottle sharpish. Good value
