Community Tasting Notes 6

February 6, 2017 - Vertical tasting of the 1999 and 2012 Uriah. The 1999 was surprisingly vibrant and youthful for its age, with finely softened tannins showcasing bursts of fruit. This could age further, but likely would not improve. Ready to drink now.

February 14, 2011 - Blackberry aromas remain bright as does the acidity. The fruit is still substantial, but the tannins are overshadowed next to the sense of sweetness in the mid-palate. This is not a wine that was made for aging, but rather to impress in its youth with big berry flavors.

September 12, 2006 - Tired, and played out. Shocker.

April 14, 2006 - This was a great bottle of wine, the fruit was alive and full, the nose was great and the finish was fantastic. This was loaded with berry and fruit flavors.

March 18, 2006 - This was a little over the hill, and faded. Past its drinking prime. Darn. W/ Jen. We got it from WineBid. Unknown provenance and storage.
