October 23, 2014 - This was a nice balanced bone dry white which went well with the Mahi Tacos with mango salsa tonight.

October 1, 2014 - Very nice crisp, dry wine with pronounced minerality and acidity. Perfect with the scallops!

March 15, 2012 - Simply. Gorgeous. Clean and crisp citrus, white grapefruit and gooseberry. Beautiful balance; beautiful mouthfeel. This wine is as complete as any lighter white can be. I want more. 13.7% alc. With cheese, smoked salmon spread and breads. Recommended.

February 19, 2012 - Better than I expected. Although I am not traditionally familiar with Gruner, this definetlywould fill the void when you need a dry white thats not chardonnay or riesling. A racy acidity will make this a food favorite when confused about what kind of white to open. White pepper, citrus, slate, on the nose, a clean florally palate will pair great with fish or shell fish and some Asian spice. I wont be running out the door for more, but this enjoyable and did well with our Asian five spice scallops and Kim-chee fried rice.
