January 14, 2021 - Quite good. Really nice place right now. Fantastic sunny California fruit (but still restrained), starting to get some mature earthy/mushroom notes, with the tannins starting to integrate and solid acidity. Really nice bottle of wine. This was a really good example of California cab made in a drinkable, restrained style. This should be good for another decade.

May 4, 2019 - Decanted for 75 minutes. Just enough earthiness and barnyard to pair beautifully with short rib. Plum, leather, and still has a few years of good drinking. Remarkably similar to Nickel & Nickel.
