December 3, 2023 - Excellent pairing with lamb served with a chimichurri minty salsa. Some tertiary balsalmic note upfront but very alive with cherry and mint flavors. Good concentration and length. Impressive for a 14 years old Bandol. Drink now. A wine that really need mint in the food to pair well.

May 10, 2023 - Second bottle, still tastes young. Really enjoyed this once again. Amazing value. I will have to find more wines from this region.

March 27, 2022 - I have been a Bandol fan since drinking a 10 year old Bunan Freres many years ago. At one point I had about 15 different ones purchased on site. On one trip I asked Pibarnon for recommendations and Gros Nore and Dupuy de Lome were advised.
Tonight we had the Gros Nore 2009 and I am very impressed. Long fruity taste and much improved from the last bottle about 4 years ago.
Bandol needs age. I well remember a Pradeaux vertical in 2008 with most vintages from 1978 to 1990 and the 78 was the star.
