January 17, 2015 - Magical Brunello! Perfectly balanced. Well aged. Give it an hour decant and it will come to Life. Think La Magia = Magical Mushrooms! This is a wonderful 1997 that is relatively unknown. You will enjoy.

January 17, 2010 - one of those experiences that makes collecting wine worthwhile. 2 hr decant & was simply a bigtime hit vs the wines i have been drinking since the holidays. lotta fennel on the nose...could taste those elements going down. but a wonderfully refined brunello that is all brunello & drinking beautifully right now.

November 23, 2006 - Part of a Thanksgiving tasting with the family. Highlight of the meal and went surprisingly well with traditional turkey, etc. Rich with great underlying acidity and structure. Good dark fruits on the nose, but overall not a heavy wine.
