January 3, 2021 - A glorious bottle of white burgundy. Has aged to become a sensational, harmonious wine Wonderful complexity from its vintage combined with surprisingly youthful energy with a lovely long finish. Wonderful!

September 30, 2018 - Chez MG: powerful, smoky, oily.

October 23, 2012 - Birthday Dinner (Yusho - Chicago IL): Lots of sulfur, never really blew off, impossible to enjoy.

October 8, 2012 - Rich, unctuous upon opening, a bit fatty and flabby, crazy spiciness and one dimensional, brightness on the palate developing after 2 hours with notes of whie flowers, jasmine and gardenia, flavors of tea and mandarin orange, weighty and consistent on palate, a bit more acid would have made this wine really shine. Definately a food wine

December 18, 2011 - This really took some coaxing to bring it out. Rich and supple. Rather creamy texture. Some oak notes. I would like more acid to bolster some of the richness here, but a terrific wine that needs more time, ideally.
