November 3, 2016 - Purchased at the winery and cellared since. Quite refined and balanced. Drinking young so it should last several more years. Not an overtly fruity wine which I find as a positive. Lingering finish. Fantastic with a bit of a chill on the bottle with a frittata.

September 10, 2013 - not as stemmy as I recall the 2011 as being, nice fruit, nice chilled

August 29, 2012 - Dark red purple in the glass. Aromas of blackberry, dark spices and some cherries. Dulls through the mid-palate but then as the tannins begin to coat the mouth, there is an explosion of dark fruits and a nice long finish.

With a bit more air, an earthiness creeps in.

    Very nice.

August 2, 2012 - Really interesting nose. Floral and wet earthy smells. Pallet developed after being open for a while. Quite tannic, and possibly lacking some more pronounced fruit.

June 23, 2012 - Compared to the Morgon Vieilles Vignes lighter, more supple and forward, with lovely fruit and floral notes, not as tannic but just as precise and mineral; very fresh, clean and elegant, lovely, svelte and true-to-to-type. Charming indeed. A steal at € 9.95. Now - 2014, although it may last a lot longer.
