October 15, 2023 - Really good even past the date of “ideal” drink by date.

December 6, 2018 - This has aged nicely. Nose has musty red fruit/pine forest aromas and is not particularly memorable.
Different story upon tasting. Beautiful red fruits-red cherry, raspberry, subtle notes of blueberries and strawberry followed by earthy notes mid-palette. So creamy smooth on the medium long finish, pure velvet.
Overall, as previous taster noted, it is still very much alive and is in the prime drinking window. Drink now-2021.

March 3, 2018 - Big fruit - juicy and plump raspberries, vibrant acids with loads of body. Ashy / seedy quality on the finish. Really delicious finish. Still life here. Racy and fun.

March 15, 2017 - Great stuff for the price. Need some big air before drinking. Cherry cedar nose. Balanced fruit and mildly tannic. Long, grippy finish.

July 3, 2016 - Little brother of the Alto Moncayo Campo de Borja, one of my favorite Spanish wines. It's good stuff. My friends loved it.

Community Recommendations

92 100% garnacha, aged in new French and American oak barrels): Opaque ruby. Sexy dark berry preserve and floral scents are complicated by notes of woodsmoke, cracked pepper and licorice. Round and expansive on the palate, offering gently sweet blueberry and cherry-vanilla flavors and a hint of allspice. Closes smooth and long, with lingering smokiness and supple tannins.
