December 30, 2018 - Unfortunately held onto the last bottle too long.
The cork cracked upon opening -- it was very dry and brittle.
The bottle had that familiar scent when it is slightly corked. We took small tastes that evening, but pretty much just left the wine in a decanter.
The next day we tried it again, and it was drinkable. But, if you still have any bottles left, it is time to open them

November 24, 2016 - decanted and let it air out for most of the day.
It drank marvelously. this is a fortunate example of a wine that is beyond it's drinking window that still is excellent

October 26, 2016 - Needs quite a while to air out before drinking, but still drinks fine
