June 13, 2021 - Second Sunday Group: 1995 Beaune (Eagle Brook CC): Double blind. Notes of tea leaf and cherry. The palate follows the bouquet but the fruit is a bit more forward. Develops a bit of an earthy quality, almost mushroomy. Shows a bit more acid than the others in the lineup.

July 9, 2019 - Indistinct nose of red fruits and some mild earthy secondary aromas. Palate is thin, shrill and more or less fruitless with nothing else going on to save it. I personally don't think this wine is in a bad place, but rather, is either just past it or was not a good wine to begin with...guessing the latter.

March 6, 2016 - Patience was rewarded with this wine. It is at a good place now. Strong cherry earthy aroma, cherry fruit on palate, damp forest, medium finish. Very enjoyable with pan-roasted duck breast. Last tasted 10 years ago and I thought it was terrible then.
