May 14, 2011 - Delicious and quite interesting. I agree with Duncan's note below. Wish I had more.

April 4, 2010 - Super-dense purple, opaque in glass. Touch of caramel on nose. On the palate: a simmering cauldron of fruit and berries! By which I mean slightly jammy blackcurrants and brambles; but not jammy in a bad way. Very smooth, no doubt in part from the high alcohol (15.5%) which wasn't otherwise noticeable. Few tannins, and those very fine. I've had three bottles of this vintage over the past three years, and it's got better each time: starting its maturity, I'd guess. Superb. Wish I still had the other two bottles I drank too young.

    February 11, 2007 - $12 per glass - Frasers Restaurant - Kings Park, Perth

Medium bodied, with strawberry and rasberry colour, still young. Nose was closed, opened up after a few minutes of agitating, berry and fruity, little oak. Palette was well balanced, fruity with well balanced taninns, which lasted, but didnt hang around like the girl next door.

February 14, 2006 - 15.5% ALC!! Ouch, high by Henschke standards. The nose was not very giving throughout the first hour or so...by 65 minutes in the wine started yielding subtle notes of pruney, raisined notes - not much going on with the nose...the palate, is, as expected, rather dense, no sign of the heat experienced for a short time on the nose. Still unyielding on the palate. Interesting texture, but little else going on at this juncture. ** out of *****. Disappointing.
