June 2, 2013 - Drinking nice, perfect balance for me, given QPR...would buy the latest vintage and drink over subsequent 1-3 yrs.

November 30, 2012 - Funny how the tasting profile can change...maybe it is time or bottle variation - maybe just how stars align?? So i'm all over the place, but would say for me 87-88 (with recent CT discussion on scores in mind).

More along lines of my original note. Medium to full bodied. Fruit forward and a touch rich in quality. Lightly oaky dark fruit on nose and palate. Medium level of coating tannins (without food) and light acid. Nice balance though. Finish is shorter and maybe some darker leather/smokey fruit quality. Great experience with food and for given price. Can't get better at sub-entry level here as $ goes in CAN. Happy to drink over next few years and buy next vintage.

September 4, 2012 - For price, maybe i was generous with prior scores...served a tad cool and decanted for 1 hour this still was light, simple and fruity with a little candied cherry quality. Some smokey/oak on the finish.

August 7, 2012 - Similar to last. Will emphasize that this is very fruit forward, visions of sour cherry/berry juice comes to mind. The acid is nice to balance the fruit. Maybe a more prominent note of the oak would be welcomed.

June 15, 2012 - Just got this in from Opimian...hit and miss at times, but for me, this is a major hit! Love the style that is light and very fruit forward with nicely balanced sweet fruit with acid and subtle tannin. Has backbone, but a very tasty profile that makes you want to come back for more. Easy to drink on patio in summer, or match with BBQ food later on! Drinks just fine now and not sure if aging this will add anything. Wish i bought one more case.
