January 20, 2023 - Wonderful balance of tannins and acidity. Very structured but softened tannins over the years. Layers of black cherries, black peppercorns, pencil lead, ripe figs and licorice. A wine that has rewarded proper cellaring.

May 3, 2022 - Decanted about an hour before serving, drank over the following hour. Paired with filet, couscous and sautéed spinach. Really drinking well now. Dark fruit, soft tannins, smooth finish. Really smooth and elegant.
