February 18, 2024 - In 2008 Scrio was aged exclusively in 1 year-old barrels, with no new oak. Deep ruby color. Aromas of plums, raspberries, spices, tobacco, leather, graphite. Medium+ acidity, dry, medium+ silky tannins, balanced. Taste of cherry and plum with long mineral finish.

October 5, 2021 - Surprised me---would have not guessed syrah in a blind tasting. Great dark fruit but complemented with mineral overtones. delicious.
