August 13, 2017 - I was surprised how this sort of "flattened" out. There and not there. OK on day 1, somewhat better on day 2. Can't really put my finger on the problem.

August 1, 2017 - Decanted about 1 hour. Very mellow Cab. Ok, paired with ribeye's, but not a "wow" wine. If you have it, I would recommend drinking up.

    January 21, 2017 - Color: deep garnet
    Nose: plum, spice, vanilla
Taste: ripe plum, currants, leather, anise
Lovely sipping Cabernet. Fruit is well integrated with secondary flavors strong. Finish is a bit short - but enjoyable.

Washington Wine Report

  • By Sean Sullivan
    12/20/2011 (link) ***** points

(Waters Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley) An alluring wine with baking spices along with floral notes, pencil lead, and high toned red fruit. The palate is deliciously rich with tart cranberry flavors and a weaving finish. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Cold Creek, Windrow, and Pepper Bridge vineyards. Aged in French oak (40% new). 14.5% alcohol. 450 cases produced.
