August 26, 2013 - Good QPR at $6, light fruit with a touch of grass , finish was a bit off. A rebuy for price.

April 24, 2013 - Any potential this wine might have is overwelmed by the oak treatment. Even at $6 bottle Last Bottle missed the mark on this one.

  • Leomania Does not like this wine:

October 21, 2012 - This bottle clinches it; I do not care for this wine. Rather boring, with insufficient acidity to provide a lift into the finish.

October 11, 2012 - I am going to hope that this first bottle of the case I purchased is not representative. Flat, insipid, boring, no real acidity to make note of.

August 6, 2011 - The youth of this wine makes itself apparent right away. Very fruit-forward on opening, which settles down after a some open time. The nose really opens up after a couple of hours. Medium-bodied with a nice slightly tannic finish. Could/should cellar for a couple of years. A very nice bargain malbec from Mendoza.
