November 2, 2019 - Sadly the bottle is past its "best by" date. I don't think the estimated 2023 date holds up. Mine had turned so if you haven't drunk your bottles - time to drink up!!!

August 15, 2015 - Often criticised for high alcohol levels the GC '09's are on the whole much lighter (14%).
Dark ruby garnet.
Some brambly molasses notes on the nose.
A sweet, light palate with pomegranate and kirsch notes. Medium bodied. Some astringent tannins but resolving and moving on to adolescence. -

July 22, 2012 - Potentially outstanding. Really well integrated acidity. Much more than I'd expect from this region. Alcohol not intrusive. Lots of bright red fruit - strawberry. Also some deeper fruits - blackberry. Oak was a little much early on. Much better day 2. Too young really.
