December 31, 2023 - golden colour. Clearly a mature chardonnay with butter, citrus rind, mellowness. Fruit not clearly discernable. I think this is on the downward slope but drink up. Was the vote of the wines amongst the group who admittedly are Chardy drinkers.

May 17, 2022 - Deep yellow. Intense and complex nose. Notes of oak, toast, butter. Showing the age. Round and developed on the palate. Probably just into the downward slope, drink now.

October 10, 2020 - Much more advanced than expected for an 11 year old chardonnay under screw cap. Very golden and quite reductive. Fruits all gone and with minimal acid holding the wine together. Showing quite significant oak influence. Took a while to open and for the next bottle, decanting is the way to go. A wine to go with food of substance and drink now.
